i have done BS(Hons) mass communication.can i apply for AD IB/n also guide me that if females are eligible for this job or not?is there any quota seats for females?would it b desk-oriented job for females?waiting 4 u pplz guidance.. Regards Sundus Munir |

Respected fellow, i). Yes you can apply for AD IB ii). Yes females are eligible for this job iii). Yes female quota is available as per government rules and regulations, recruitments are made by FPSC iv). For females, its desk-oriented job, they are provide congenial working environment. However, no post of AD are expected to be advertised in near future, so you should concentrate on other venues/for other posts etc. |

actually my parents have some reservations regarding this field that being a female i may not b able to survive in this field bcoz it could b tough in certain aspects,wat is ur opinion regarding that? Also tell that are females have to go through the same sort of training as the males have to? i mean physical training and medical tests such as eyesight,height etc.? pardon me if my queries seem to u 2 childish actually i dont have anyone to guide me regarding the particular field! thanxx a lot Regards Sundus |

[/QUOTE] Females have not only survived but also sitting at top positions, there are around three to four lady officers in BPS-20 in that department, out of whom one or two are waiting for promotion to 21. Ladies are given desk job, they are not sent to field posts. This is very much congenial department for ladies, lot of respect, pricks and privileges. I heard that training comprises normal courses in class roooms and some physical training. Ladies are not supposed to be sent on to physical training, so have open and free mind to think for this department.
