Default How to prepare current affair for ad ib!!

Sir,
I have a confusing question. as most of the members suggest to read dawn newspaper daily for css and other competitive examinations but in those papers the questions in the paper are of essay type. But in the AD IB paper there are only 20 MCQs from current affairs. The question is what is the technique to read dawn newspaper for current affairs MCQs. Which sections of the dawan would have to be read preferably for preparation on daily basis.

The MCQ's in IB test are far easier than that of css. You may need not to be worry; a single book of general knowldge+dawn newspaper will cover your entire test. Same like you, i was also worry regarding my IB test but when i sat there 4 test; it was just a piece of cake.

Abbas Khan has rightly said, there is no need to be worried for it. You can have Caravans Aptitude Test book and its General Knowledge Book as well as keep reading Dawn on daily basis. On free times, keep surfing wikipedia and read different organizations, events, personalities, places etc. In addition to this, I will suggest to keep watching some good t.v. world analysis talk shows.

the book by Carvan Publishers by Ahmad Najeeb is far better then any other books available in market .
There are certain reasons behind this claim .
The biggest reason for its being distinguished from other books is its having equipped with correct info .
Almost all the books in market for the preparation of G. K mcqs have the same contents of G. K .
But the problem with these books is that they are replete with errors and mistakes .
In this way when one prepares from these books , one instead of getting prepared ,
often gets misguided or gets wrong info . Which eventually proves disastrous in the exams .
While this book by Carvan contains very little errors or mistakes as compared to any other book in market .
Besides this , it contains all the contents which may be asked in a hundred marks MCQs paper , be that by PPSC or by FPSC .
Then there is also Current Affairs potion in this paper of A. D Intelligence Bureau.
For the Current Affairs portion of this paper take help from MCQs given on World Times.
JWT monthly magazine contains info as well as MCQs based on this info regarding national as well as international important Current Affairs happenings during last month.
Besides these one should also remain in touch with Television, Newspaper and social media for keep oneself abreast with latest happenings.
I totally agree with your statements. Dogar's "Who's who and what's what" is like 750 pages long with less than 50 pages (i may be exaggerating as it could possibly be less than that) of real information. The rest of it is junk.

Default Thanx murwat sahib!!!

Thanks dear brother marwat,
One more thing to be added. The best book for the maths portion IS OBJECTIVE ARITHIMETIC BY DR DINESH KHATTYER it is an indian author. I think if someone go through this book then there is no need to prepare any other book even the book mentioned by the seniors CH NAJEEB APTITUDE TESTS. The mane difficulty in the book of CH najeeb is that it is written in a short cut manner. In the book I have mentioned above all the steps are clearly given alongwith short cut formulas. The aspirants who are living in islamabad can easily find the book from SAEED BOOK BANK F 7 MARKAZ JINNAH SUPER MARKET. The persons who are living in any other city can call saeed book bank and they will dispatch the book to the aspirant by mail.

Moreover this book contains most of the solved questions of GRE maths portion.

regards

For arithmetic section, i follow this guide. It's well written, easy to understand and free of cost. You don't need to do the complete guide. just chapter 1 and the portion explaining equations.
