i am from punjab i cleared my written test after i went for the skill test but don't know what is happening right now any updates from your side?

Basically, GD stands for General Duty which means that he has to perform the general duties where ever department needed it. He can be switched to office work to field work. It depends on the demand of time and organization decision.
