Smile MOD (ISI) Vacancies

Hello, Recently MoD have announced vacancies. I've recently completed my FSc and considering to apply for Security Supervisor BPS 7 and Operator Specialist BPS 9.

Since they're allowing age relaxation for former military personnel having Intelligence background for Security Supervisor which clearly indicates that it is a field operational post while allowing age relaxation claim if the applicant has previous experience in Signal or relevant Military Unit which we can guess that this is a Technical kind of Post.

I wanted to ask whether should i apply or not? How are BPS 07 or BPS 09 Officers treated within the Department? and whether i can persue my studies ahead and apply for a superior rank being into the department already?

I'd be grateful for the help.

1) Dear, my suggestion is that you should apply when you have completed your graduation because it is not easy task to carry both studies and job simultaneously.

2) BPS-07 &09 are lower rank scale employees, it depends how your reporting officer deals with them.

3) Yes, you can pursue your studies from VU or AIOU or other distance education programs, weekend programs etc along with job and can have the opportunity to apply for higher post.
