No, the result will not be declared! The next step after interview is the security clearance. After interview, security clearance of the selected candidates will be done. Once the candidate is cleared, then only the letters for the medical will be issued.

THIS WAS MENTIONED IN A THREAD IN THIS FORUM REGARDING NEXT PROCESS BY A SENIOR MEMBER "RAZ" WHO WAS SELECTED AS AN AD ISI IN 2005.........Security clearance process is for every candidate who has been interviewed. After completion of security clearance the most potential candidates will be served with job offer order subject to medical clearance. No separate orders will be dispatched for the successful candidates after medical clearance rather it is a continuous process. Candidates will be required to join and fill bond as soon as the medical clearance is finalized. Candidates on waiting list will not be called for medical clearance in the first phase. If any body declines to join, the candidates from waiting list will be called for medical tests and joining purpose in the order of their merit.

Normally, candidates are not dropped in medical clearance process unless they have any chronic disease. So any person who receives letter for medical test is actually selected one. If any body visited you for security clearance, don’t take it on the face value and don't confuse it with job offer order.

Every candidate is subject to security clearance if you have not experienced this process don’t worry that doesn’t mean that you won’t be accounted for in this process. Each officer has got his own style of verification so there may be the case that your verification process went without your notice or your turn is still in pending process. Some officers contact you directly or interrogate your relatives, friends, neighbors, university mates etc. but there are some officers who can complete this process without direct contact. They have various sources to finalize this process. Each officer has his own pace of working and schedules so timing difference should not be the tension factor for you.

This is an old post that you are talking about. As per my knowledge the process has changed now and was a bit different last year as I mentioned in one of my earlier post.

Security clearance of all candidates is not done anymore, only selected candidates.

this is 2015 AD isi thread ... in this thread many members have clearly mentioned that they experienced security clearance but didn't get medical/appointment letter.... for example there is a person named Qurat khan who experienced complete security clearance procedure but was not called for medical and joining.
