Lightbulb Medical/Security Clearance
Can anyone confirm whether:

1. They have been contacted by MoD officials for security clearance?

2. The expected 3/4 month time for the security clearance starts from 14 July 2016 or later?

Any and all information would be appreciated. Kindly mention source for authenticity.

Medical is in the month of Nov ... after mid November... so security clearance will be completed by the end of Oct or by the first week of Nov... my friends in army and personal contact in MOD have told that PRACTICALLY security clearance takes 4 to 6 weeks but due to office work delays , paper work delays, hierarchy, etc etc it stretches to 12 to 14 weeks.

2 weeks after 14 July = 1 August

12 weeks after 1 August = 1 November

Total Weeks= 14

I know this is all guesswork, but doesn't hurt to be hopeful. However, are you a 100% sure about the medical being in November? Did your sources confirm exactly that?

My source is Deputy Director... according to him security clearance will be completed by end of Oct or by 1st week of Nov + medical would be conducted after mid Nov... However it would be of great help if all of us can confirm from our sources the time frame of all the procedures... even if difference is found in info atleast with all the info available we would be able to rationalize the situation and the overall time frame.... and most importantly try to somewhat satisfy our impatient hearts

Dear Usman Warraich ,

Can you confirm if letters are dispatched for DD signals posts too? Or they are just sent for AD posts and DD letters still awaited.

There is no new update so far about the process. Earlier there have been one or two instances where people claimed that the process has started but there are no signs as such.
