I'm going to communicate my concerns to the Ministry because it is hopeless to contact nts. I believe we should at least try to make MoD notice the matter.

Dear greenboat, in essay instructions it was written that write essay according to formal methods adopted, you go and search whole internet and let me know who says that outline is not required in formal essays. In competetive exams outline are must but nts walo k apne rules hain.
Secondly i knew how much i was convenient with the topic i wrote on, ye alag baat hai instructor ko mera viewpoint pasand na aya ho, but ALHAMDULLILAH i got 59 in css essay mean i write according to standards of essay.
Lastly, CA questions were of 20 marks not 5 marks that we write only half page of quarter page per question.
So result is nothing was wrong, bus nts walon ki ya mod walon ki neeyat khrab ho gi . I have lot of opportunities available, mod ko mubarak hon un ki pasand k log jo 20 marks ka question half page pe kr k select ho gae.

with 102 ,i guess i cleared it with fluke... with no CSS prep and background!
i had 1300-1500 essay written....
CA 2 questions were lengthy and specifics with headings for each paragraph(psl and arab spring)... 2 questions generic(us presidential election and unsg election) and 1 generic/opinion based...(18th amendment)...
i don't know how they checked but i think it is pure luck!
i had 143 in screening with no prep for screening and quick skimming for descriptive!

Congratulations to those who made it, commiserations to those who didn't.

If I give my two cents, this paper was perhaps designed​ evaluated​ to judge analytical skills of the Candidates. By analytical I mean how well a candidate was able to put together information from various sources with a sound objective, body and end.

I am sad to hear that some of those who had great scores in CSS essays (amazing scores ) or are graduates of top institutions did not make it. Guys please do not lose hope, try to contact NTS or MoD and pass on your grievances. Not all battles can be won. IA best hoga agay life mein. I am choosing to take your anger as your perceived inability to serve Pakistan through MoD, be it may, people like you are our future and there are better avenues​ where your skills will be better utilized.

As far as those who did make it with very little efforts, wow g kiya baat. Start preparing for future stages or you may not make it.

Lastly, yaar Greenboat sb, learn to empathize. Do you think this is the time and place to give such input? Thora thanda ho lainay do. Give advice later bro.

PLEASE don't guess like this, I also made outline of essay in MOD paper and got shortlisted for next round of psychological assessment test.
