First NTS, than MTS, than OTS, than PTS and now UTS.. next will be GTS (Global Testing Services) I guess.

can you both guide me the pay, perks, privileges, duties and paper pattern of assistant (grade 15)...... please reply thanks

Pay will be of BS 15 with house hiring. Paper pattern includes Math General Knowledge Current Affairs Islamiat Computer etc.
Duty would be of administrative cum clerical.
Promotion is good as someone here who is working in petroleum ministry as assistant quoted that assistant could be promoted to BS 19.

Its around 30k and about 15k hiring per month. One thing more Assistant salery varies department to department. I could be wrong someone who is working in defence ministry can clarify this.

is this add is for Rawalpindi office appointment ??
and do they offer house or 15k per month as house hiring ??

Yes Rawalpindi........not sure of house hiring but it is highly likely that they do offer.

What's the pattern of tests conducted by UTS ? This is the first time I have applied ever for a job through UTS :wacko::waiting

Pattern would be same or less like NTS i e GK, Math, Islamiat, Computer Current affairs etc

How was the test people ?? I found pak affairs and islamiyat a bit tricky.... Rest of the 3 portions were super easy...however with only 3 seats for assistant....competition is going to be tough....do share your experiences....

Test was not that easy.A good number of candidates appeared to my surprise :thinking .Were the tests conducted in different times for the post of Assistant ? Apart from 9 Am slot, there was 12 noon :con slot too.And I heard that questions were the :thinking:thinkingsame in 12 noon

1) Chamman is famous for fruits.
2) Chamman is famous for Grapes
3) Salt range starts at Dina and ends at Jhelum :unsure:
4) eagles have beaks or claws :unsure:
5) Hudaibya in 6 Ah
6) Area of Indus river in sq miles was asked
7) Synonym of Tedious
8) Synonym of Errand
9)Line of control signed in 1972
10) at 35 prophet saw worked for Herbul fajjar
11) Muzdalfa is between so & so
12) harrapa near sahiwal
13) 6 barrages on indus river

along was being used as an adverb because it was describing a verb (action) that was "run"....so in this case how the action was being done....it was being done as "run along"........However i maybe wrong


Yes the candidates were alot more than what i expected as well......but i guess due to there being only one center that was the case........and secondly people who had applied for both the posts maybe there test was conducted at 12 noon....and most probably the test papers were the same....

Its strange result for me because I was expecting sure shot 70+ at least... If all the ones in which I had doubt were wrong.....
