It all depends on the situation of an individual, if you have the relevant experience do mention it in application form and simultenously try to get that experience certificate from the concerned govt/private org you have worked with. However if depsite effort you could not get that certificate, clear yourself to prospect org with a valid reason to justify the unavailability.

Note: if I am not mistaken relevant experience is referring to only relevant experience/similar to the one you are applying against, if this is the case you must have/had worked in govt org and they should/would honor your request to provide that certificate.

I am 35 years 7 months old. But I have higher qualifications and relevant experience although not government experience. Can I apply for AD?

Alas!!! I wish you and many other overage aspirants like you could get the chance to apply againts desired post, however, this will not work.

If you can bear the expense of application fee, just give it a try for the sake of your mental satisfaction. Overage candidates can only get contractual jobs in any govt organization and these are regular positions announced by MoD.

I hope this would suffice your query.

Does anybody have information regarding AD computer programming. Which subjects are supposed to be in test?
