I have heard good promotion and perks and privileges of DIS (General) Cadre AD ISI including promotion speed and power which is much better that CSS groups like OMG, Information Group, Commerce Trade Group, Railway Group, Postal Group and Cantonment Group.

People I know in ISI easily get promoted to BPS-18 in 5 years and they have cadre line to BPS - 21 Grade.

Further you get foreign postings including perks of official car and govt house throughout your service.

You are eligible for Army Askari Housing Scheme and you get house from Army on retirement based on grade on retirement.

Medical Treatment at CMH hospitals across Pakistan is covered. Further there is also power of serving in a powerful organisation as well.

Dear sir who have given you this information.
a guy in this group say that my elder siblings are doing job in MOD and they say that its not good job for civilian.They didnt give accommodation to civilian officer and you have to work under the retired col or maj. And secondly all major seats r under the control of military officials. and thr salary, perks and privileges is also not good.
Another guy on facebook say that during my interview at MOD head office i personally witness that a civilam officer of MOD was working like a clerk thr.
BTW its promotion is upto grade 20 not grade 21 and secondly n army grade 20 is equivalent to Brigadier rank and nowadays Brigadier rank officer didnt have much power.

kindly recheck the information on increase in seats in BPS-21 is in Dawan as well.....Pl go through. Further a friend of mine works there and he says ISI recruits two types of employees Contract and Permanent. The one you are talking about are contract employees. They don't get any facility only permanent are authorised for that stuff... And perks of house and official car for civilian staff is provided to all officers of isi the good thing about the department. These jobs in advertisement are of permanent employees and are good

dear sir ask from your friend about the salary structure of civilian isi officers and secondly the article which you have mention it is clearly written that there is only 4 seat of grade 21 for civilian and grade 21 is equvalent to maj gen. and currently there are more thn 170 maj generals n Pak army.
Dear sir are you sure that they give all facilities to civilian officers house accomodation +batman+ free education in army schools, cadet colleges etc

Every govt dpt has limited number of grade 21 officers, 4 seats are enough, an organization like MOD cant give more control to any person for longer period of time (to avoid any misuse) so a person at 21 may only serve for 3,4 years.

Second thing is its really hard to get a job in such prestigious organization, the competition is sky rocketing so i think you should now only focus on how to get there first.

So let's worry more about the preparation. Guys any suggestions because this time it's not NTS, it's ministry itself so shall we focus on FPSC style questions or still focus on past NTS exams?
