Well, I am not sure but I guess getting at least 120 marks should be suffice to get through to the next phase.
Fingers crossed!

My guess ....130 plus/minus 10 would be the cut-off threshold most probably.

People on facebook are speculating that even though the test comprised of 200 questions, the total marks will be 100 i.e. each MCQ was of 0.5 marks.

Normally, it wouldn't matter but in this case, negative marking of 0.25 would be twice as damaging.

P.S. This is exactly what happened in 2019 too. 200 questions but when the result was announced, total marks were 100. (I think everyone needs to revise their estimated scores now)

This was not the case in 2017 AD general exam, where total score was 200 and there was no negative marking either. Cut off score for Punjab was 140 in that exam.

Kindly share the facebook link or group where this debate was done.

Secondly, how come the negative marking would become 0.5 per wrong answer in case of conversion from 200 to 100 marks ?

It would be near impossible to find the facebook comments in which this was mentioned but here are two posts from 2019's AD screening result thread which mention the same thing.

Therefore, 62 means 124/200, If you have answered more than 124 questions correctly out of 200 without any mistakes from KPK you will be considered for the next phase.

I have cleared the rest of the tests and in Assistant Director Test I got 41.25/62

Negative marking would not become 0.5 per wrong answer, it will remain 0.25. However, it's impact will be double since you effectively have only 100 marks to play with. The marks you can earn are being halved, the penalty is the same. This is what I meant by "twice as damaging".

There was negative marking of 0.25 in 2019 MOD AD and i still remember that the cuttoff for the objective type questions was 50 and i guess if they converted the paper into 100 marks where each question is of 0.5 weightage than i guess 50 marks criteria makes sense right?
