Yes. According to older threads the cutoff criteria in 2019 was:

Punjab 56
KP 62
Sindh Urban 48
Sindh Rural 54.5
FATA/GB 59

people who are speculating their marks more than 100, i think they are from Mars.:-) Last time merit for punjab was less than 60. Even in the instructions, they did not mention that each question carries equal marks. Last time, students even got negative marks while their GK was not as bad as the score was. Result would be unexpected. Hope for the best.

So you're saying that analytical reasoning questions carry more weightage than GK ones? Idk about that.

Last time merit was less because apparently, each MCQ was of 0.5 marks, not 1. So the total was 100, out of which Punjab's merit was 56.5.

Who told you about that? They never mentioned that 1 mcq carries 0.5 marks

Those who are expecting to score even 130 numbers will be in trouble if each question turned out to be of 0.5 marks because consider that someone has all the questions out of which 130 are correct than 130 * 0.5 is65 and 70 * 0.25 is 17.5

65 - 17.5 = 47.5

In MoD paper, there was only presentation about negative marks of 0.25 marks. Rest they did not mention anything about how much each mcq carries how much weightage.
