The place of posting varies for the each job. Especially if you want to ask for field job i.e Sub Inspector, the place of posting can be anywhere in the country. For further information, see the advertisement on the link below;

@Seniors,
Can you please guide that is there any news or update about the written test that when it is going to be held for the posts of Inspector and Sub-Inspector in MOD? Is there anybody who recieved his date sheet or roll no slip or any other call letter from the Ministry of Defence ???

Dear the written test for the inspector and sub inspector in MOD will begin from march 2011 and its paper will be MCQ type. Presently Mod officials are scrutinizing the applications.
