Seeking guidance for preparation of SI in ISI...!!

First you will appear for the written portion, Psychology and Interview are the final phase of the Recruitment process and will take at least 1 year.
For written examination you need to have a good command over Vocabulary, English correction of the sentences and General Knowledge in finger tips.

There will be McQs related to English and general knowledge. Theres a chance that an essay will also be there related to current issues. The main thing is that your general knowledge should be strong enough.....

Your paper will comprise total 120 mcqs questions that was the number of questions which we answered in our SI test. Test will be from General knowledge, Vocabulary, English correction sentences and Arithmetic questions.
Ministry of defense only shortlist the candidates for psychology and they never tell to the candidates their minimum passing requirements.

Essay or current affairs paper is given in Assistant Director test in Ministry of Defense. Sub Inspector test is totally objective.

and i have applied on 15th nov.. so how much chances of written test held...??

means how many days before they give call letter of written test....

You can prepare GK from any good book and for English & analytical portion Dogar's book of GAT is sufficient.

The education requirement is intermediate, so there will be thousands of candidates. So written test will be held surely. There is a chance that test will be in start of February. So prepare yourself.

The recruitment process of Ministry of defense for arranging written test takes at least 6 months and you will be given 15 to 20 days for preparation; that means your test date will be after 15 to 20 days when you receive your admit card. Note that some of the admit cards usually reach late to your mailing address due to the number of candidates or postal delivery.
