Life in ISI
 

Guitarist says hi to all...

we all know the word ISI has a deep nd lasting effect of power and authority..ISI personnels are the one who have their own prisoner and death cells as my cousin(capt) was posted there for two years..He says we can take any man and put him in the cell, keeping ur seniors in knowledge nd nobody can know abt that man..so these personnels are the king here..

But Here i want to say something and that is, in ISI mainly army officers are transffered to the commanding and effective posts and people who come in ISI as AD are know as civilians ISI personals..Ofcourse they are being promoted to higher posts but i always think that wat is the difference between a serving army officer giving duty in ISI for two years and a civilian assistant director doing his job..isn't that like docs serving in army having full facilities but we cant compare them to the armored or infantary personnels..Please comment

Another thing, ISI is an international agency and it works all over the world, in INDIA also..So here something missing is that how many departments ISI have and wat is the job of AD>>do they work only in Pakistan or else>>also comment please

As i dont know but if i am in ISI and i m being sent to INDIA OR to some disputed area than wat abt my family life???? Cz this is not army k u do some hard area stuff and come back after two years..Here if u r sent to some enemy country it would be worth saying that ur chances of coming back are minimal and incase u come back u will be here after 10 to 30 years...

So my point iz wat is this AD job nd how safe it is to have a family nd working here...

now I tell u all ppl here ,AD has a great authority here and when he got promoted to deputy nd than director he iz a real king here in pakistan...there iz also a great family life for this job ppl..

LOLZ@ 'mazhar' n 'I m possibe' for making such a big blunder...ppl especially MR 'A GOOF ', there is no such truth here too.. now I explain how.

AD is a powerful and an office job here in pakistan .. AD don need to go to disputed or enemy country but he remains in his office cz he is not a field agent nd also don't get training for such activities ...so I am afraid mr mazhar that u can't serve at front line of ur motherland with ur passion as an AD :P

wat I wrote in start waz not disliking ISI but my style of discussing things so that ppl get involve nd we get some gud info..
ill not comment on 'i m possible 'cz in this thread there iz nothing to agree wid but juz false info..u r looking to me a touchy personal nd self centred man.

GUYZ PLZ SEND UR SERIOUS REPLYS CZ THIS IZ A VERY IMP TOPIC ND WE SHOULD SHARE INFO TO GET MORE INFORMED..

Well, so far as i m aware A.D. ISI is an officiating post involved at making decisions/policies/procedures and they are not sent in enemy country

About MOD AD job
 

i know a person in my city who is a deputy director in ISI. he was selected A.D back in 1980s and still he is in 18/19. His job revolves around office work. hardly had he been to some enemy or even a foreign country. Key posts in ISI are occupied by Army personnel and they do not allow any civilian to occupy a sensitive post.
I will try to meet him on weekend and share with you his views.
