AD ASF is limited to the premises of the airport. Now you can compare this job with your current job in terms of salary, chances of growth etc. and decide for yourself which one to choose.
Here I have full chances of being promoted to District Officer Cooperatives (BS-17) in next 5 years (till the end of 2019). And then there are expected promotions in BS-18 and 19 with same intervals. What are the chances in ASF for reaching which level at the end. I will have 27 years to serve as per my current age and superannuation age.

Regards!

There is almost a 10 years promotion gap between each rank in ASF. At the most, a Dy. AD reaches up to the post of a Director (BS-19).

Congratulations ! You are number one on the merit list.
Since you are already a serving govt. officer it will be difficult for you to compare both jobs. But I think promotion chances are more in your current job as Asst. Registrar. Promotions in ASF take very long time.

You are also trying to leave the ASF job. I was very happy when I got selected as DAD because I am jobless. But I am little bit scared now !
But anyway I will join this job as I currently have no other option.

I am not at all discouraging you from joining. Don't underestimate your achievement. It is indeed a great achievement to get a grade 16 govt. job in Pakistan. In fact I am basically an electrical engineer, so I am naturally inclined to join my own field in grade 17.

Ma'am, there is newly notified job structure for ASF, I learnt from a friend. Is there any chance for fast promotions after that?

I doubt it. My sincere advice to you is to stick to your current job. ASF is suitable only for those who are currently unemployed or working in lower scales.
