Plz Share Ur Experience About Pms-2009
those who have appeared in PMS-2009 please share your views, experience and analysis, and how you find these papers.
i have also taken the exams and my views are following.
ist four compulsory papers were to some extent easier.paper of Pakistan studies and general knowledge were a bit more difficult and in my view these papers would decide the success, in addition to essay which mainly depends upon writing expression and organization and to some extent on paper checker.......what type of marking he do.
optional papers ..as i opted sociology, mass communication and geography were not so difficult but writing skill and knowledge would matter in sociology and mass communication. these two papers were of general type and sensational presentation would surely give advantage. now the last one geography paper was quite technical and without any doubt good knowledge of geography would be decisive in bearing the award.

I experienced the same .Pakistan studies and General knowledga papers were tough.General knowledge can hardly be predicted but the Pakstan studies paper was unexpected especially its obective portion .
My optionals were Mass communication, Social work and Punjabi. These were easier as Mass com. paper consisted more on general type questions.Social work and Punjabi were also easy to deal with .

my exp.
well,
its nice to share one's experience.
1- papers were easy for me except general knowledge
but i hope for a better result inshALLAH
2- my optional; urdu, mass comm. sociology
optional papers were technical and general but i could do better by the grace of ALLAH almighty.
3- ppsc people are highly incompetent to take such exam.
lack of planning , frustration and mismanagment was frequently observed on the part of commission. staff was highly incooperative.
anyway thank GOD we could manage to appear.
regards

plz check my composition
QUESTION.WRITE A COMPOSITION USINING THE FOLLOWING OPENING SENTENCE
........AKBAR TRIED TO RUNAWAY AS FAST AS HE COULD ,TERRIFIED LEST HE MAY BE CAUGHTRED HANDED........MARKS [30]
ANSWER.
........Akbar tried to run away as fasr as he could, terrifief lest he may be caught red handed.......the opening sentence has a positive as well as a negative side but i would proceed with a positive side beacuse Akbar was a football player and he could run as fast as he could and this was the requirement of a player. He was not a thief .He was a player of an international rank .He won many gold medals and his fellows respected him very much .He worked hard for the betterment of his team.He was a man of determination.courage, and his soul was very pure.He did not commit any sin .He strategy of playing was tremendous .He was not a thief. He was humble.down to earth and very plote in his manners. He got up early in the morning and did whatever was good for his team.He thinked with longfellow who terrified death in the following way
Not enjoyment and not sorrow,
is our destined end or way
but to act that each tomorrow
brings us further than today
He was not a thief. He got immortal fame in this mortal world due to his game. His body was veryfit which is bascially a requirement of an athelet.H terrified lest of death not of being caught re handed.and also thought with longfellow again in the following words
He slept beneath the moon
he baskd beneath the sun
he lived a life of going to do
and died with nothing done
Above all he was feared of death. He did not want to lose his fame.and wanted to maintain his strength and his streangth was his team .Akbar formulated rules and regulations for his team and his team followed his rules and regulations .TO sum up he was a player and not a thief and was a man of character and will and he could run as fast as he could beacuse he was a player.....akbar tried to eun away as fasr as he could.terrified lest he may be caught red handed..... this is just glipms which i ve written in papaer

dear zeeshan your way of expansion is devoid of any context, motif, theme, i would present mine, but my problem is that i took more than half of time only to make a comprehensive outline of essay paper with 10 points consisting each 4 to five sentences which was par excellent but in explanation i could not go beyond 4.5 pages and time was over.,,,, my essay was,,, The position of women in a society is an index of its civilization

i cant recall much of strands of my outline as in making outline i was on the zenith of my intellectual impulse and enterprise, but i all the same try to reconstruct it here.
1-woman is both ecstasy and ego in the imagination of her male-counterpart, and thus in almost all cultural context she tends to become the ego-alter or ecstasy-allure of her male counterpart which give rise to most intense ego centric relations bearing the imprints of these two extremes.
2-In our religio-ideological aphorism, she is held to have caused the banishment of man from the garden of eden through her wile and enchanter and thus eternally becoming a symbol of a seducer and betrayer, which to me is a value judgement as faith and fidelity in the cradle of love is not the exclusive portfolio of either gender. both default on it and exalt on it in equal measure but only circumstances and role alters.
3-the dilemma and deviance arise from her having ushered in over -subscription of her charm, fancy and desire in false and plagiarized socio-cultural and socio economic circumstance of a society on one hand and her becoming a false ego-alter of male chauvinism on the other complex social and civilizational end
friends power shut down is just about to fall on my computer , i would continue later

To attempt PMS exams was a fun for me. I was not mentally and physically prepared to attempt PMS-2009 with full of my vigour and zeal.
In the very outset, when I received my Roll No Slip I thought to ignore the exams and to keep on preparing for CSS-2010. Then suddenly before 2 days of the conduction of exams I made my mind to attempt PMS.
It was my First paper of English Essay which decided the fate of my next papers. In my humble opinion I did as well as I can in essay paper. After attempting essay paper I started to see my destination. Then one by one I appeared in the whole papers and except general knowledge every paper went good. But still I am quite hopeful and optimistic about the result.
Inshallah as Allah has helped me in the whole CCE-2009 of PMS, I will be rescued by Allah in general knowledge paper too. I and pray for all those, who have faith and courage in theirselves.
May ALLAH Bless ALL of you.
Regards and Reverence

dear shah, this state of mind and intellectual inactivity and indecision to the quest of preparation cramped my style in most incredible manner conceivable with the consequence that i wrote 100 % out of my own in all 11 papers. i really suspect a nemesis in my essay paper as beyond witting a profound pithy outline i could do hardly any further explanation. only if i pass essay i stand any chance to carry it off. And also my answers wouldn,t go beyond two to four pages in all papers.
