I will directly start from point which i want to make,This is insanity just total of 9 seats of journalism ( male & female ) will come in 2015 lecturer posts , before this only 22 seats of journalism ( male & female ) were offered in 2011 , this is injustice to candidates as well as Pakistan . Media Studies is a very important field in world rite now. Wars are more fought on ideological fronts through media than through weapons, Pakistan has many channels which lack professionals who lacks knowledge of ins & outs of media , without studying media , how pakistani students will able to give answer of psychological war-fare which is going against Pakistan , how programs on private channels will improve if we din't have persons having degrees in mass communication/media studies/journalism, who ever bureaucrat babu in higher education department is discouraging journalism/mass communication is doing disservice to Pakistan , i call on mass communication/journalism candidates to raise their voice against this injustice , write comments on news papers/channels facebook pages about this injustice and insanity of government to neglect journalism , without raising voice we will get nothing. Even we can join together to organize some protest some where to get media coverage.Also candidates should pursue their university teachers to write to higher education department about this injustice,they should highlight importance of journalism/media studies in today's world. Solid effort is needed so that journalism should be introduced at college level & candidates get more chance of being selected as lecturer

I appreciate your concerns,I am a media student too I've done my masters in mass communication from the best university of LHR and I got a chance to work in a news channel here in pakistan and one abroad I won't name it here but what I observed is that there is political interest in every channel in pakistan and this is the reason why they don't let a new talent or person to take enter in,Eeryone is praising media employees for nothing I don't know what's the stereotypical thought we all have regarding media,even being the pillar of a state it have many flaws which can never be over come and all of above I'm amazed how come they don't consider journalism as a professional degree may be because our media outlets are having all the anchors who don't have a single degree in communication, well people let's just go ahead and start preparing for the exam.

situation will change if we start protesting and pointing out this injustice no doubt every one should give their best in test but this is not on , giving just 31 seats to an important subject like media studies in 8 years

This is how it goes,we can loose this chance by protesting and I don't think there are much candidates appearing for journalism this time. I've been posting in fb groups as well there's not a single one appearing for this subject. Well just be relaxed trust your instincts.
