Highly chance of stay order as GOP hasn't relaxed age upto 30 years despite of the fact that CSS uper age limit has been enhanced from 28 to 30 years.

I am really lagging behind in my css preparation but can still manage. I wanted to appear in PMS too but I will have to work on Urdu and 2 optionals of 200 marks each. Do you think I should go for it? The rest of the preparation is same as that of CSS.

If there is a stay order, is it wise to apply online in nay case? Or will we get another chance to register if there is a stay order?

There wont be any stay order over age relaxation as pms has been regularised by ppsc. Exams are going to be held in mid december or late december.

There are only 14 posts of pms on open merit so competion is going to be very tough. One must score 750 plus in writern and 150 plus in interview to get an allocation.
I secured 752 in written and failed to get an allocation. PMS cast a damp over my css preparation and i flunked in english paper.
Choice is yours brother.

Bad news about GK paper in PMS 2017 (see the Notes section under Compulsory Subjects in the ad):

Negative marking will be done and 0.50 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in the Objective (MCQ) paper of General Knowledge.

Previosuly it was 0.25.

Last year, the exam started after 26 days of application deadline. You can guess yourself. But its all upto PPSC.

Download Departmental Permission Certificate from PPSC's website and get it signed by appointing authority/authorized officer.
It is better to get it before applying although you need it at the time of interview.
