Why you add words 'short term'?
The topic is simply elaborated unfair distribution of wealth/misallocation of resources breeds violence, hatred, social intolerance and ignorance.
Impacts of this unequal distribution of wealth is in the form of rising extremism & terrorism, unemployment, social intolerance, ignorance, illiteracy and other social evils. All the industrial revolutions of the world is the manifestation of this cause. Unemployed people and ignorant communities joined terrorists for monetary benefits. Brexit is a real example of this cause.

I take this topic a little bit different. Economic growth without unjust distribution is short term and tend to fall in long run. Economic growth could not be achieved without proper distribution justice.

Brother should we add recommendations in this sort of essay which is argumentative in nature. I totally agree to your stance but you have more focused on national interests than nationalism. Brother kindly answer my these two queries.

Saadat Ali Shah's book says one should write suggestive conclusion.
I was more focused on contemporary examples than theoritical perspective of nationalism. I felt such arguments would be more appealing to examiner.
