as per latest developments, S&GAD has finalized the new requisition and would send it to the PPSC by the end of this week.
secondly PMS 2018 was/is not cancelled. S&GAD is bound to take the exam every year after High court's directives of 2014. PMS will held probably in mid March 2019, but it would be counted as PMS 2018. and cut off date for PMS 2018 is 1-1-2018.
so keep calm, stay away from ''Khabarnaama'' around you.

Agreed, but question lies here: if it is mentioned in letter that reckoned date will be considered according to the year when it will be announced. then, how can we say that it will be according to 2018 while it will be announced in 2019?

Hi, if anybody comes to know the most probable date of exams beforehand... Please share it on the forum because any date beyond February mean that I won't be able to appear in the exam.... If I know earlier, I won't have to trouble my self more and study in futile.

there are two possibilities in the case, one PPSC would announce it in December 2018, so it is would be called as 2018 naturally.
second they can mention it in requisition and in ad as well, and the date of exam would not matter here,
last PMS,ie PMS 2017's officer has not yet joined and 2018 is over. Officers will be joining in Feb 2019,but they will be called as PMS 2017.
