these r the functions of CO-OPERATIVES DEPARTMENT

To facilitate formation and registration of Co-operative Societies.

To provide short term loans for the purpose of Agri. Inputs i.e. fertilizer, seed and pesticide.

To provide medium term loan for the purchase of tractors and other Agri. implements.

To supervise and control the affairs of Co-operative Societies.

To arrange audit and inspection of Co-operative Societies.

Excise Inspector duties


Assist motor registering authority by checking the file of vehicles and submit to MRA. It is all computerized now

Collect property tax, professional tax, entertainment duties and hotel tax.

Every Inspector has one constable and one clerk at his disposal.


Apart from this there is license of differnt liquor like alcohol, spirit and acid etc



last but not the least inspector can seize any vehicle which token tax in not paid or it is not registered or the owner of the vehicle has no proof of registration
