Question SUBJECT SPECIALIST(ENGLISH) Course outline?

Salam.
I'm likely to appear in the subject specialist exam(English).
Is there any course outline available for the exam? I've heard it'll be MCQ type. How about any other description? Will it include Literary questions only? or grammatical ones also? Anything specific about it?
I couldn't find any help regarding the exams. Please provide some information.

Brother as this type of test is being conducted first time so its outline can only be guessed. Total MCQ questions will be 50. It will include the questionns from History of English Literature along with general questions of english Grammar e.g Synonyms, Pair of words, Idioms & Pharases, Parts of Speech,Error detetection etc.

All tests of subject specialist will be MCQ (objective type) comprises of 50 questions and 100 marks duration one hour.

@nadeem anjum

To check the grammar at this level seems inappropriate. Normally grammar is tested at B.A. / Intermediate Level.

It would be 100 marks Paper??

Could you people please tell me that B.ED was a necessary qualification for applying SS English??

we can not get rid of Grammar at any level as Grammar and composition paper is being included in css and all competitive exams. Moreover Grammar ability will be tested in Error detection type test.
