ok i got ur point kay pcs ki multiple attempts hoti hain. and yeh exam kab hota hia? and subjects kiya kiya hoty hain is mein? pms/css walay hi hoty hain ya seperate?and if u knw any official site for pcs then pls tell me!!

Hira it seems the point is still not clear.

You see FPSC( Federal Public Service Commision) is an entity that conducts induction processes for various posts of federal government. CSS is one such exam that they conduct. Apsrt from CSS they conduct many other exams for other posts. These exams vary form post to post. Now for CSS one has three attempts. It does not mean that one has only three attempts for FPSC exams, but for any specific position, for which induction is done by FPSC, you have maximum three chances for that specific post.

Now the same case is to be put up for any provincial civil service( PCS) commission. Just like CSS, PMS is an exam conducts by the PCS, in our case the Punjab public service commison. So, one can attempt PMS maximum three times. Other posts are also advertised by PCS, and for every post the syllabus and papers will be different.

iska exam ik mnth mian 2 dafa bhi ho sakta hai n 4 dafa bhi..depending on k job kia thi,kiss department ki thi, n kb adevertise hui.
mostly iska syllabus Current affiars,everyday science, islamiat and english pe hota hia 100 marks ka MCQ's type hota hai
iska syllabus CSS wala nai hota bilkul bhi
CSS m PMS are almost the two same things (syllabus wise n preparation wise) ye dono ka PCS k one paper test se koi concern nai hota

one more question which comes to mind regarding pms that as css rules indicate that if a candidate leaves service within specified yrs he would be required to reimburse the Govt for the expenses incurred on his training etx........what abt a pms officer does this apply on them too i-e if a pms officer within a year or two of pms goes for css nd gets allocated where would he stand will he be asked to reimburse Govt of punjab ???????????

i know bit about PCS but i dont know in detail. how to give the exam of pcs. to whom i have to make a contact for appearing in the exam what is the procedure of registration

Public Service Commision (PSC) is conducting exams for Provincial Civil Services (PCS) in different field of Provinciale cadre like Section Officer, Magistrates, Civil Judges, Lecturers, ASI in POlice etc.
PMS is Provincial Management Service and PSC conduct Exam for this too.
In routine PSC advertise posts through Newspapers and all eligible candidates can apply.

After introduction of PMS in 2004 three batches of PMS selected but what happened to old officers those are serving in Secretariat? Are they also PMS comes in PMS and merged in PMS or still separate? I mean officer selected by PPSC through exam before PMS introduction in 2004.

Can you please guide about PCS like what are the subjects for it? when is exam and age limit etc? for 2013
