Half Written Marks + Academic Marks + Additional Marks for Higher Qualification + Interview Marks. 50% marks in interview/viva are required to qualify the interview.

Total = 200 marks

Half Written Marks = 50 maximum

Academic Marks = 40 maximum (based on % marks obtained in Matric + F.A. + Inter + M.A.)

Additional Marks = 10 maximum

Interview/Viva = 100 maximum.

I would be grateful if you could elaborate the Academic Marks. How 40? No offense intended just couldn't apprehend the formula

Regards

PPSC has devised a method based on percentage of obtained marks in a exam. No. of exams based on the required qualification for a post. For Lecturer posts, minimum master degree is required in a particular subject. So matric, inter, B.A, M.A. 4 exams. These 40 marks are divided in 4 exams. For example, if a candidate has 80% marks in each exam, his academic marks would be 40 maximum.
