Dear Saddam Bhatti Shb:

W.Salam: Hope you will be fine, According to my knowledge that PCS Inspectors are those who worked in Prosecution Branch. They are appointed as PSI/PI Prosecution Sub-inspector or Prosecution Inspector. Mostly it has been rose up to SP Legal. Because they have limited strength, so it is no easy to promote them regularly. As you said about ASP's or inducted through CSS *PSP* officers so they are concerned with the establishment division Islamabad, so their promotion matter dealt by the same. Hope you will understand.

Pcs inspectors who were recruited in 1993, most of them are stil not promoted to the rank of Dsp and those were recruited in 1997, none of them has got regular promotion to next rank. After this with the promulgation of police order, direct police inspectors are not recruited through pcs.
Dsp,s are promoted through provincial Seniority list while those are Asp,s are federal subjects n their promotion is much faster than those of Dsp,s.

the pcs inspectors have been treated unjustly by the high command of police because all of them belong to psp cadre and they do not want their hegemony to end because if pcs inspectors get promotions on time which is there lawful right they will become eligible for senior ranks like DIG AIG etc that is why legal impediments are created in the way of their promotion now i have heard they have filed a case in the court against their unfair treatment lets see what happens
