POWER & FUNCTIONS OF REVENUE TEHSILDAR

TEHSILDAR is a principal Agent of Deputy Commissioner.
(Land Record Manual)

1. Collection of Govt Dues.
a. Abiana
b. Agriculture Income Tax
c. Land Tax
d. Ushar
e. Local Rate
f. Stamp Duty – Mutation Fees
g. Arrears
2. Attestation of Mutation.
3. Inspection of Khasra Gardawari.
4. Inspection of Preparation of Revenue Records.
5. Disposal of Partition Cases.
6. Execution of Court Decrees.
7. Conduct Inquiries of other official and private cases.
8. Attestation of Domicile.
9. Duty Magistrate / Price Magistrate.
10. Special Duty (Flood, Earthquake etc).
11. Special Inquiries.
12. Duty in census and With election commission of Pakistan.
13. Acquisition of Land for Govt from the public through land acquisition act.
14. Reporting etc.

Question Tehsildar Info
i need ur views and opinion regarding the captioned subject,,i have very little knowledge about Tehsildar. what are its powers and authorities. ?
what is the pay package.?
what is he basic preparatory material for the post.?
Is it better than OG II (BS-17) in Public sector financial Institution which is my current status ?
what are prerogatives of Tehsildar..?

Please share ur knowledge.

Powers and functions, authorities already explained in the first post.
Better or not depends on one inclination towards a particular post. No doubt at present grade 17 is better in terms of pay but Tehsildar post is good none for those who want to work in administration. You can say its a DMG at lower level. Also promotion is good and after promtion to grade 17 you can be a PCS equivilant of DMG as this is a PCS Executive group.
Regarding Preparation the syllabus is there whic includes English in general covering ESsay, Precise, pair of words, idioms and comprehension plus basic grammar.
Urdu which include Essay, Poetry mainly from Ghalib and MIr etc
Basic Pakistan affairs Islamiat and EDS.
Revenue law include Land Revenue Act; the most important book for Tehsildars and other Revenue officers, Registration Act and Tenancy Act Also go for The Land Record Mannual and Patwar course. All these books are available in the Market.

Can anyone clarify me that what is meant by this statement?

33% passing marks in each individual paper.
jaisy hain papers hain

Paper: 1
i) English Essay 50 Marks
ii) English Composition 50 Marks

Total 100 Marks

Paper: 2
i) Urdu Essay 50 Marks
ii) Urdu Composition 50 Marks

Total 100 Marks

1st paper mein enlish essay+english composition hain.

to is mein english essay and composition mein alag alag 33% marks leny hain ya k dono ko mila k 33% leny hain?

plz elaborate.

Yes there wil be poetry and its explanation by you. Also you can expect essay on the poetry of Mir Taqi Mir or ghalib iqbal etc.
Idioms and Precise.
I am sure the paper ll be easy to handle.

As the paper is one of 100 marks, so you have to grab 33 marks collectively from essay and composition. Essay will be like Question no 1.
and same is the case for Urdu and the rest of Papers.

A guide heading "Carvan Tehsildar Guide" by Carvan Publishers available in marke at cost of Rs. 750/-. Is this sufficient for preparation of Tehsildar's exam?

And any other book u know share here.

plz anybody may tell about the paper language of land laws either in English or urdu.
Similarly tell about the paper(Pak study/islamiat/general knowledge)Test language english or urdu

These papers will beheld on the same day or one paper one day

No its not essential u can purchase any other book.. like Advanced or University Book COrner..
