i read it in today's jang newspaper.

In addition to that i also want to ask that how it is possible that exams will be taken by ppsc in march / april ? Because during my psychological held on 29 january 2012(pms 2011) i asked madam that why ppsc conduct exams in summer/ winter vacation? (as all the major exams including pms & tehsildar were taken in july & december.) she replied that due to vacation in schools & colleges, ppsc manages to get examination halls to conduct exams.

Now please confirm when pms exam is expected?

I will confirm and let you guys know as soon as i get any info in this regard.....about the question of papers holding in June/July, yes the reason you were told was correct.....

Most probably yes, but you can't say anything about that.....PPSC is infamous for their surprises but i think it would be after the CSS exam, and there is always an issue of Centres which is sorted out to some extent in June when there are holidays in schools and colleges.....

The issue of age restriction and PPSC's policy of moving one step forward and two steps backward over this issue will continue to be hanging like a pendulum moving to and fro.But one thing is for sure that as long as PMS exam not be conducted every year,the condition of age restriction will continue to be challenged in the court.Lets see what happens this time.

I am trying to find out any pertaining news and till then we must pray that may such thing not happen, seats are there and so is requisition, if banned then we'll go bust....but i hope that is a far cry from reality insha ALLAH.....

aoa dear it doesnt seem possible in near future as:
1. it needs to amend police order which allows recruitment in police on three levels only-constable, ASI, ASP.
2. inspectors directly recruited through ppsc in 1998 are still struggling for their promotion as DSps.
3.PSP cadre strongly resists any such idea. in the last provincial government tenure IG punjab mr javed iqbal didnt let it happen even at the cost of his posting.
so it is a complex issue making it very difficult for the govt of punjab to decide on the matter.

yes brother it is possible DSP seats may be added to next PMS beacuse committe has been formed to amend the police order and soon the bill will be presented in punjab assembly SI and DSPs will be recruit and ASI will be be stopped after this police order 2013. hope so that it may soon happened
