Got it dear. What is difference b/w these people who selected through combined competition examination and DDAOs who selected through general recruitment?

Regards,

Exclude PMS cadre and then there is no difference at all.

ADLFA selected through PMS and DDAO via General recruitment has no virtual difference at all, DDAO could have been recruited through PMS and ADLFA through General Recruitment, so you get my point, no difference.

Now coming to PMS, it is a general cadre and Management /Administration group, no other provincial BS 17 post can compete in any terms with PMS, all other cadres and posts have static and limited reach and no vertical mobility while a PMS officer can go in any other department on deputation. And because PMS is the admin cadre so it has better service structure and promotional prospects as they have the exposure of working in different departments and field as well as secretariat. So exclude PMS cadre, remaining have no difference.

P.S: Separate departments may have their own advantages as well which may be liked by individuals as per their proclivities.

Regards,

It means that if some department have seats BS 17 and a PMS examination is due in that year than they can be recruited through this combined competitive examination? For example, if add of PMS 2013 advertise in Oct than some department have option to recruite their post throught PMS 2013. As was the case of remaining 35 candidate in PMS 2012.

Regards,

Yes exactly, on their discretion or on its own, PPSC can include those jobs of BS-17 to be filled through PMS exam. It is a dilemma that had it not been filled through PMS, then that particular post would have been filled through 1 paper MCQs test and a person who has qualified a combined competitive exam will get it now, but it is better to have something then nothing, i-e people who this time could not get PMS, at least they got something, rather a BS-17 job is a nice reward of your hardwork whatsoever. Anyways that's my personal feeling.

Regards,
