Default Scoring Trends: PMS 2011 (Punjab)

Note:

Here are scoring trends of major/ mostly opted subjects in PMS (Punjab).
These findings are concluded after studying DMCs of only finally allocated candidates (106) of PMS 2011.
These research results are given for candidate's interest and guaidance as it may help them in future. However, very pertinent to mention, that scoring trends can be variable and can change on yearly basis so------------ park on your own risk :p




Arabic.

Number of candidates who opted this subject out of first 106----6
Average score-------------------- 152

Remarks.
Although it proved the most scoring subject but least opted one.




Punjabi.

Number of candidates who opted this subject out of first 106 ---------61

Remarks.

A real bumper crop in this subject.
It changed the fate of many candidates in determining allocation.




Public Administration.

Number of candidates who opted this subject out of first 106---------20

Remarks.
It also proved very high scoring subject too.



Geography.

Remarks.

Geography also proved a rewarding subject, though, not as high scoring as above mentioned ones but it also turned out to be a good scoring subject, specially its paper I.

There is no direct weightage of academics, possibly psychologist may consider one's academics while giving his/ her assessment.

i have observed people having public ad, geography and punjabi remained top scorer because three of these got elevated response from PPSC.....

I want to opt history for PMS, can any one tell me that whether history is fatal for PMS?
Moreover, which combination is good for me?

Social Work...........200
Punjabi/Persian.......200

or


Geography..............200
Social Work.............200
Punjabi/Persian.........200


I have another query about Punjabi and Persian. I have good knowledge of both.
