Literate people pay taxes regularly while some people ignore his responsibility. It is not an easy task to get money from the pocket of people. We to struggle hard to achieve target.

brother ETO (excise and taxation officer) ke post girls ka leya kase hai has compare to section officer which job is more atteractive

Dear member,

If the SO is a PMS officer and is eligible to be posted in field, then certainly SO is better;
Otherwise ETO is a better option, for both male and female.
Its my personal opinion,others have every right to disagree!

Sir, does excise inspector get promotion or he just finishes his services as an inspector till end...?

E&t inspector does get promoted;
But in most cases he does not go beyond exsise and taxation officer
(ETO BS 17).

I think same is the case with ETO BS-17. His promotion is also slow.

Dear sir,

Promotion beyond ETO is not that slow!

One certainly can not compare ETO promotion with OMG,PSP or PAS;
Otherwise ETO ptomotion is quite rapid.
Eto reaches senior ETO(bs:18) in barely 6/7 years.
And to E&T Director(bs:19) in another 5 years.

I have an example of one person named mr. Asif who was selected ETO in 2004 and was appointed as E&T Director in the year 2011.

Promotion is comparatively slow. Mr. asif is a unique example. He is very hardworking man and no doubt an asset of excise and taxation department.
