NO,Sis it doesn't mean that I am not willing for ETI I discussed about it in order to seek better opportunity,many people said to me that I would repent after leaving food department but I didn't care and appeared in interview as far as supervisor is concerned I liked it just for convenience but it doesn't mean that I am not ready for work I know that ETI is a reputable job and opportunities are not availed again and again,I have been recommended against a permanent post after 3 and half years struggle.

I am to ask if I join as an ETI shall I have to appear in PMS to become an ETO?

No... you can become ETO without appearing in PMS but promotions are very slow in E & T department. You should appear in PMS 2014 , if you want to get direct appointment as an ETO.

@usmanmirza: Same like other jobs, a letter will be sent to you from concerned department, asking you to submit your medical fitness certificate that you have to earn from your respective DHQ (Hospital). You have to submit it to the office mentioned in the letter and finally you will be allocated or posted to the department. Be patient, it may take 1 to 2 month more in your posting.

@Incredible one
Join Excise inspector job and after that concentrate on Pms exam preparation and removed amiguities and shortcut from your mind regarding ETO post without Pms exam.You are so hardworking and rely on hardwork.
