Sir I am going to be appeared in Zilladar interview in the coming month so I need your guidance in this regard.

Kindly tell me what are the duties and responsibilities of Zilladar ? And what facilities and power does a zilladar enjoy? What kind of questions should I prepare for my interview ?and lastly what is the salary of this post?

Please guide me in detail. I searched your email in forum but did not find it anywhere :oooo :unsure:

Zilldar job is very important job to do. you have to provide justice to the people related to water issues. he has to look after the the issues like, Warabandi, Outlet issues,water theft and chak bandi cases.as far as its duties are concerned he has to deal with cancal and drainage act 1876 section 20 20B(related to Out let ) ands 68 ( Warabandi) and 68A( Restorin the internal and external water course course) 31 33 34 ( water theft and Tawan).

sir thank you very much for your reply. It means I will have to prepare these irrigation laws ? And are these laws notes/books available on Internet ? Sir share any other tip which you think is necessary for interview.

Lastly what is zilladar salary for fresh entrants ?

if you are on contract then salary will be almost 22000 if permanent then almost 19000, brother i dont know about KPK you have check yous own province irrigation law it will available on net if you face problem then ask me.

Zilladar have 9 to 12 Patwaries under him and 1 AVC ( reader) and peon and a Bungla. he as to write ACR of pawaries and MPAs MNAs will call you for favor and others too.

in interview remind names of Rabi Corps and Kharif and theri time period, and also famous fruit or other crop of your area in detail time of seeding etc in i acer how much quantity required. remind all other crops with same. Indus Basin treaty which river for pakistan and for india. difference btw barrage and dam.outlet seasonal and non seasonal canals etc.

Zilladar interviews will be in Oct/Nov after PMS examination as there is no zilladar interview in sept schedule of kppsc.

Duties of Zilladar are
a.) He is a Investigation Officer in almost every matter(except engineering matter like outlet size , o/l head etc.)
b.) He has to prepare tawan cases(cases of water theft ) in his section
c.)He has to prepare cases of wara sikni (section 33-35) of canal act.
d.)He has to prepare chakbandi cases (transfer of land from one to another outlet)
e.)He has to prepare warabandi cases(schedule of irrigators turn in outlet for irrigation water)
f.)He has to attend court for the appeals filed the irrigators against the decision of Canal Authorities related to his section.

are your sure about banglaw is (resident)t is available for zilladar in punjab and what about vehicle facility for zilladar. Beacuse my friend selected zilladar but he didnot join according to him zilladar have no powers as compared to food inspector

yes definately banglaw is available for him. brother power in our system has started from 17 BS there are others like police inspectors etc. Zilladar is a investigation officer his main power is report writing in which he can favor or un favor a party and whole case prepare by him then its very hard to reject his findings. its not very good not very bad job. no vehicle available. moto cycle is under consideration. due to Engineering branch they do want we have powers. till 2003 Zilladar was very effective as equal to Tehsildar but after flat rate his work is diminished. Zilladar has his own court.

sir how many zilladar appointed in a district , according to population or area wise and your accomodation size in terms of kanal or marlas and is furnished or unfurinshed accomodation?
