Take a book of General Knowledge by Ahmed Najib, Carvan Publishers. It will be enough for this test. Also consult Internet for the knowledge of current issues.

This book is enough for preparation. For Current affairs you have to consult internet. Go through following thread to get an idea of PPSC tests.

long ago i read a post on this forum that the persons with BBA(hons) were rejected at the time of interview of ADLR.At that time MBA was also included as one of the qualifications, but BBA(hons) were rejected.

I have done MBA in Marketing am I eligible for the post of ASSISTANT DIRECTOR / DEPUTY DISTRICT POPULATION WELFARE OFFICER / TEHSIL POPULATION WELFARE OFFICER ? As it is mentioned in the ad that (Business Administration and Management Sciences) but I have done Master in Business Administration not in Management Sciences so I am confused about it.

You should ask from PPSC. I think your degree is equivalent. However confirm it from PPSC.

4 years degree is equivalent to masters and is accepted by PPSC. However, degree should be in realtive field.

assistant dirctor/deputy distt/tehsil population officer are names of one post or all r diffrnt post

i have done bba nd mba in finance nd applied for this job but in the form i can fill for only one degree ...bba(hons) or MBA...why?

because rabia bba hons is equal to mba.

thanks for information, but isn't a bit strange that for 100 mcq you are given 2 hrs time ,, usually I experienced 100 mcq with 1 hr time and if its two hours they ask you for an essay or short questions . plz clarify it .and one more thing from where to do the socio economic part ,I mean any specific web address.
