Thanks Zarar for replying to my query. Can you please tell me what is expected pay and if one is appointed as SHO what will be their pay?

Further please clarify, on what basis or criteria one can be appointed as an SHO because in a police station Inspectors will also be there. What will be their designation in this scenario.

Thanks

SHO stands for station house incharge. or incharge of police station. in our thana culture there may be any one to serve as SHO during the absence of inspector who is real sho. usually inspectors give the charge of thana to any person who is used to handle thana paper work.

Afrer amendment in police order 2002, Sub Inspector can be appointed as SHO. There are a large number of police stations where Sub Inspectors are appointed as SHO. Pay of SI is 25+
