Info needed

Hi guys,
I applied for a post of accounts officer, in ppsc "Mines & Minerals Dept Punjab", which required 16 years education but I have 15 years education with ACCA 12/14 papers passed. Am I going to be disqualified for all ppsc jobs on the ground of violation of ppsc guidelines ?
Similarly, I asked FPSC to apply for National savings Officer, it had same requirements as PPSC, they welcomed me to apply, but PPSC staff is too good to provide info in this regard.

It's really a technical matter and the resolution can not be assumed except the officials of PPSC. I suggest you to contact them during Office/Working hours. It would be more better to leave a message on ppsc@punjab.gov.pk and surely you will get the reply.

I have same query.
I am BSc Engineer and I applied for District Zakat Officer. Masters degree was required for eligibility.

will I be disqualified or prepare for the test?

Thanks for your kind reply but as forementioned, ppsc staff behaviour is very rude as well as, too kind to give any info in this regard.

I have sent email many times but all efforts proved futile. :(

Don't lose heart.

I think, you should directly call Secretary PPSC via: http://www.ppsc.gop.pk/ContactUs.aspx
If not satisfied, kindly leave a message politely to the Member of PPSC. Mr. Kalb-e Abbas via taking link from the following: http://www.ppsc.gop.pk/PpscMembers.aspx

Methinks, you will be disqualified. So far I remember, there was mentioned just Masters' Degree. If your degree is of 16 years, then OK. Otherwise, no choice of eligibility.

my degree is 16 years.
but there was not written Masters degree or Equivalent,
thats why I am worried as to my eligibility.

You should hope for the best. If 16 years as you mentioned, no problem then. PPSC didn't specified the subjects of Masters' degree e.g. Economics, Pol. Science, Sociology, etc. So, you also fulfill the requirement of 16 years' required masters degree. Best wishes!
