Can I apply for direct Inspector post in punjab police.
If yes then tell me about qualification needed for this post.

Punjab police is recruiting SI only. No direct recruitment to SHO.

SHO is not a rank. A number of SIs are appointed as SHOs in different police stations of punjab

Thank you for the correction. I though only Inspector can take charge of Police Station.
