I appeared for viva voce on 27th March, 2017.
The panel comprised of Chairman PPSC Lt. Gen. Sajjad Akram, Mr. Seerat Asghar, Mr. Mohsin Razi and one other interviewer (probably a serving csp at secretary level).

Here is a transcript of my interview.

Muslims are regarded as enemy army no.1 of US. Why?

What is more important for you? PMS or foreign qualification?

A friend of mine also appeared for interview today and she told that the interview was very general in nature, but they have asked relatively technical questions from you. Maybe you have shown them your interest in international politics thats why they asked questions relating to trump, populism and nationalism .

Mr. Mohsin Razi is an ambassador, and he asked all these questions

Difference between aptitude and aptitude?
current dispute between Turkey and Germany, Dutch?
Difference between LOC and Working boundary?
What is creek? followed by question regarding Sir Creek dispute?
What is Global Governance?
What is Monetary policy?
What are the elements of Fiscal policy?
What is budget?
What is sculpture?
Who was Michael Angelo?
Was Michael Angelo a sculpturer or a painter?
How US can bring stability in South Asia?
Had Lord Mountbatten our governor general, would not it had been beneficial for Pakistan?

One thing that I observed is that when Gen. Sb start asking questions, other were keenly observing and taking notes. Later, when Mr. Seerat took his turn, other two were taking notes.
Mr. Razi asked questions chiefly based on my answers to Gen. Sb and Mr. Seerat.
Same was the case with fourth interviewer.

So the point is, the second half of your interview depends mainly on your answers during the first half.

Hence the adage " انٹرویو لیا نہیں جاتا، دیا جاتا ہے " holds valid.

No doubt interview matters alot but what Score have we got in written, will decide the game i_e who's gonna be Assistant Commissioner ☺☺☺☺

Psychological Interview, Lahore Centre. March 31st (PMS '16)
 

1. Question on Professionalism and latest technology to solve issues (My Job related question)
2. Why Civil Service?
3. who’s your motivation?
4. Why over-protective for parents (about weakness)?
5. What would you if posted in Southern Punjab (Related to being Overprotective)?
6. You have been into Civil Service exams for past 4-5 years. Has it made you some different in terms of learning and experience?
7. Complete the joke (remained incomplete during day-1)
8. There's dearth of financial resources but they area you are posted in needs a school, needs overhauling of a govt hospital. How would you respond?
9. How would you raise your child as a father?
10. You are sitting with your female colleague in a restaurant, boys fix words at her. What would be your reaction?
11. How do your friends see you as a friend?
12. Do you get angry? If yes then how and to whom do you express it?
13. Who do you share your feelings with?
14. We have read almost everything about you, if you want to add something, please do.
15. If selected, how would you make your job professional and technologically driven?
16. If your son has a decision on a certain issue that’s no acceptable for you as a father. How would you deal with it?
17. How would you rate your confidence?

My interview with psychologists lasted about 18-20 minutes. I’m pretty satisfied given my past experience. Wishing you all a very best of luck for the final interview. Cheers!
