Gen. sab take two turns. One in the beginning and second in the end. How did the second one go?

Gen sab took two turns and both went well. They didn't ask any opinion based questions and not even a single question was extracted from my answer.

In my opinion, every question they asked has marks. For general knowledge or current affair related question, each question had 2 or 3 marks. If you answer it right then those marks were awarded to you. Questions in which they want a discussion or a detailed answer had 10 to 15 marks each. Rest of the marks were of dressing , fluency in English, & your analytical ability. Cross questions , i think , had no marks.

They asked me no question on general knowledge or current affair yet awarded me 180 marks

I think the only skills that work in interview and that you can control are your speaking confidence eye contact and dressing... rest if you think about knowledge... well u cant beat the interview panel they can grill you as much as they want

True. They asked me about elections in France and Germany, in light of elections in Netherlands where populists couldn't win the majority. I had no clue about it but articulatef my answer as to win an election you need majority but to represent a sentiment or thought, few people would be enough and there are definitely more than a few people out there who have populist sentiments. So we cannot say that next government in France or Germany would comprise of populists but it is for sure that populists are gaining ground in Europe.

I am planning to opt Punjabi in both CSS and PMS for my next attempt. I needed notes and guidance as it is totally a new subject for me. But i have a real knack for Punjabi Sufi Poetry and i hope i can memorize the couplets. Please tell me a book that covers all the syllabus of Punjabi for bothPMS and CSS.

Coming to the interview my psychological went well. I have had a sound educational background with active participation in extracurricular activities, sports and social services with documentary proofs.
I performed satisfactorily in both written and interview of the assessment. And i had mock interviews before going for the real interview at a famous institute in Lahore. But i don't know what might have been the reason for my poor result in the interviews. I have a good knowledge of national, international politics, economics, science, IT, professional and international work experience. What does the panel want other than this ? i even scored better in the written. I simply fail to understand the reason.
I cannot recall any situation where i was impolite and was not making eye contact with the panel. I speak fluent English, Urdu, Punjabi, Chinese, Bengali and Gaelic. But it is totally unbelievable that i was rated so low by the panel.
After going through the whole process myself i now have doubts about the whole process of selection and this so called transparency that is advocated by this commission.
I was awarded 91, 96 , 89 and 93 marks in other interviews held by the same commission and its members for different posts of BS14, BS 16 and BS 17 posts and was recommended in all of the cases. This particular interview was a routine work for me but still you can see the marks 128/200. (pathetic)
you can collect notes in hard form. i visit quaid-i-azam library, bagh-e-jinnah. we can meet there.

Wow what an irony. Those who got low marks in written got selected. I must recommend you people to contact Court as soon as possible. Supreme court make historic judgement on the case regarding Combined Competitive Examination 2016 conducted by Sindh Public Service Commission. In the judgement of case SMC 18/2016(Page 26) SC wrote:

a. Those who did remarkably well in written test got very low marks in the interview, therefore were excluded.

I must say the candidates must must file against the result.

Sir you can read the judgement by your good self. I also mentioned page number. You can easily challenge you PMS if you have high score in written and lower in interview or if you have some examples that those who got lower marks in written allocated.

Our CCE has been turned down on those allegation. Yes I repeat CCE-2016 Sindh has been turned down by Supreme court on 13 March 2017 on those allegations along with others.
