Anybody who opted for physics kindly guide me.

while going through the syllabus they just give specific topics like perfect gas(ideal gas).(in thermodynamics section)
and when I study from helidey's book of physics; the ideal gas topic contains many sub topics like: Work Done by an Ideal Gas at Constant Temperature, Work Done at Constant Volume and at Constant Pressure, translational kinetic energy , root mean square, The Molar Specific Heats of an Ideal Gas, Degrees of Freedom and Molar Specific Heats etc. every sub topic has its own derivation.

my question is should i just prepare the ideal gas (in general way) or prepare every topic of ideal gas? if i go through every topic then it would take much much time.

so kindly help me in this regard.

Dear @Minfless~Genius. I've a master degree in Applied Physics but frankly speaking I am not opting it for two reasons. Reason number one is, as you mentioned that only main topics are mentioned in the outline but there are many subtopics and their derivations, one should have to prepare all the topics including subtopics plus their derivations one Numerical Problems as well which takes a lot of time to get well through all the syllabus. Therefore, one can easily prepare any social science subject instead, if have interest in any. Second reason is essay, social science subjects help in essay and build basic knowledge which is useful. This is purely my own opinion rest the decision is yours,if you want to know more about how much depths you need to go into a subject then you should analysis previous papers.
This will surely help you out to select the subject.

@sadiasabir i second you. i was thinking same as u r thinking now. the main reason is i consult KAMRAN SAGHIR (5th position PAS-2018, he got 171 in phy). he said that u sould go for physics bcoz its a jackpot. 2ndly physics has very vast outline so always paper setter will never go for complexity. after his saying i makeup my mind to opt physics.
another reason for phy is PMS. if i dont choose phy then there would be a mixture of subjects i.e. between PMS and CSS.

i cant contact Him for such a question as I don't have his e-mail or contact no. thats why i put my question here

Default Social Work

Hey today I consulted a PMS officer regarding Social Work and he suggested me a book for its preparation. It's published by Jahangir's World Times authored by Waqar Aziz Bhutta. According to him its the best book for PMS and covers all the topics.

Dear Seniors,

I need some help with regards to filling the online form for PMS. How is the field "Number of Chances Availed" is to be filled? I once cleared PMS written and interview, but was unable to secure allocation. Therefore, what should I fill in the field mentioned above i.e. 0 or 1?

It is about how many times you appeared in exam.
If you appeared one time then you have to write "1" in the Number of Chances section.
