Environmental Pollution is an incurable disease. It can only be prevented. Discuss in the context of global initiatives.

1) PREFACE
a)Thesis: Rapid industrialisation in the 19th & 20th Century, Proliferating urbanisation, deforestation and other factors mark the human progress. But it has its side effects, which have affected the globe adversely. Various pollutants have been added to the environment in the form of industrial effluents and domestic waste. Environmental degradation has become a disease which can only be cured if significant steps are taken to counter the harsh effects of human activities. Global pollution has reached its apogee and this parasite has become almost incurable. But prevention on part of human activities and controlling the effluents of industries etc can stop the environmental pollution for once. At a later stage these effects can be reversed to some extent. This is only possible through continuous struggle and determined approach by world leaders through deliberation and conscientious implementation.

2)EXTENT OF THE ISSUE
a) industrial proliferation
b) carbon emissions etc
c) melting glaciers, increasing world temperature, extinction of species...
d) ozone depletion etc
e) shifting monsoon, changing rain patterns, etc
f) global leaders have taken various steps in the form of conferences and summits i.e; kyoto protocol, COP21, COP22 etc
g) point based approach by UN to penalise countries with greater carbon emission
And some more points defining the contours

3) CAUSES
a) deforestation
b)rapid urbanisation
c) uncontrolled industrial effluents
d) use of vehicles with harmful wastes
e) nuclear /domestic wastes

etc

4) REMEDIES
a) promoting electrically driven cars
b) implementing UN conference recommendations
c) reducing and limiting carbon emissions
d) planting trees
e) checking urbanisation
Etc etc

5)CONCLUSION
a) human aspiration to progress in the form of industrialisation and urbanisation has produced harmful effects
b) uncontrolled and lackadaisical approach have polluted the globe with lethal threats
c) global leaders have highlighted the issue in various conferences as harsh effects of pollution are self evident
d) Although this scourge has damaged the earth quite significantly;but a concerted effort on part of the global leaders and the humanity as a whole will certainly limit the effects.
e) humans have struggled through out history and overcame various obstacles. Nothing is impossible for him.

Ended on a positive note

Introduction:
- Sometimes a single moment in life is enough to establish and deconstruct the whole purpose of life. Whereas, sometimes an entire life seems to be futile and fruitless. Hence dividing life into several patches of years and time makes the constitution of life haphazard and topsy-turvy.

- Different facets of life

-Thesis Statement

Present Day Discords/Contradictions:

a) Unbridled materialistic pursuits till the years of retirement have made the life uni-directional.

b) Misconception of relation between success and the number of years one lives.

c) Pre-defined social roles and responsibilities according to pre-established time framework.

d) Life as mean to ends not as end to achieve various means.

Exploring the forceful gravity of Life over time/years:

On Individual Level:

a) Life for life sake aids in the deconstruction of rigid ideological positions we have formed in our early years about life.

b) Living every single moment helps to achieve spiritual connection by disconnecting oneself from external environment.

c) Expansion of human sympathies free from time-driven materialistic life.

d) Sense of free creature/soul.

e) Living life as unified whole shuns the fear of death.

f) Refined outlook on life and nature.

On Global Level:

a) Every moment, day, month and year can be Women Day, Labor day. Life should decide the day, day shouldn't define the life.

b) Global system promoting actual purposes of life (welfare projects) which should be continual irrespective of time and incumbent government.

Examples Justifying the Statement:

a) John Keats, despite getting a life of few years, had altered the dynamics of poetry. Hence, age or number of years cannot define one's potential and limits.

b) John Milton's example

c) Few others.

Conclusion:
-Let your mind wander, it would create wonder.

Thanks for evaluating the outline.
Coming to your question, I would like to mention that i have never prepared any essay for these exams. I believe that writing comes naturally. Even choosing this topic itself reflects that i was short of facts and figures needed for other topics. Actually i have done honors. in English Literature, so it was easy for me to handle this topic. Yes one can prepare the topics pertaining to current affairs etc. But these general topics don't need any pre-hand homework.
