Do help me. I did ma political science from Sargodha university as a private candidate. I solved only past papers and took material from internet only.. However, in lecturer paper i could not make into qualifying list.. Kindly tell me books of graduation or master level to read.. I want to compete in competitive exams for lecturer political science in future..Regards

Western Political Thought from Judd Harmon
Muslim Political Thought from M.M Sharif's History of Muslim Philosophy.
In the panel, there will be a subject specialist who would ask questions about the subject. But the questions of other members also need to be taken care of.
Those questions may pertain to current affairs, and general aptitude.

Political Science Theory and Practice by Mazahr ul Haq
World Constitutions by Vishno Bhagwan
Western Political thought by Judd Harmon
Muslim Political Thought by Chaudary Aslam
For political and constitutional History of Pakistan do consult Hamid Khan's "Constitutional and Political History of Pakistan" Oxford, Paperback Edition.

once you study these books, you would have sufficient command on your subject. Insha'ALLAH.

Do share current affairs topics for preparation & source

interview is expected in the first week of July.
Regularly read dawn news paper and watch news bulletin of 9.pm. Also form your own opinion about the issue.
for instance, Energy crisis in Pakistan, Pak China Economic Corridor, Military Operation of Zarb-e-Azab etc

I have seen my DMC of lecturer political science today. I have got 70 marks.. Do you have any idea or estimate about your gained marks?? As i want to determine cut off marks for qualified candidates. Regards

The cut off marks for qualified candidates are 76.75

You just click on "print DMC" option on PPSC site and you would get to know the cut off marks on open merit were 76.75
and for disable students it were 67.5 and for minorities it were 42.5 !

I may have secured 85 marks. not below than it as i am certain of my attempted questions. Insha'Allah
The marks of Passed candidates would be disclosed in the merit list once the interview is conducted till mid July.

Ghayas where is thanks button? I am unable to locate. Oh my bad I think I was close I have had 75 correct then I went on wild guessing and attempted full paper.. feeling broken now
