SUBJECT: EDUCATION(PAPER-I)

Note: Attempt THREE questions from Part-I and TWO questions from Part-II. Attempt in English or Urdu language.All questions carry equal marks.

PART-I
Q.1. Write notes on any Two of the following :
a). Factors affecting classroom communication b). Factors affecting learning
c). Information and communication technologies(ICTs)

Q.2. a). What were the recommendations of All Pakistan Education Conference 1947?
b). What was the massage of Quid-e-Azam to this conference(1947)?
Also give your comments on a & b statements.

Q.3. Why we keep in view the Philosophical, psychological & Sociological Foundations while developing the curriculum ? Elaborate those with examples.

Q.4. Mention strengths and weaknesses insupporting Pakistan education system by the foreign donor agencies. How can we make this support more effective? Explain

PART-II
Q.5. Explain the effects of the role of education in human resource development and character building among the youths to meet our societal needs.

Q.6. Compare the role and impact of public private sector on education development. Give at least five suggestions for achieving better results in each sector.

Q.7. Why we are not achieving national education goals? Discuss with reference to curriculum development and implementation in Pakistan.

Q.1. Critically look at the educational thoughts of Imam Ghazali. How these scholarly thoughts can be incorporated in curriculum of Pakistan?

Q.2. Enlist types of tests; write principles of construction of these tests.

Q.3. Discuss the role of Provincial Ministry and two of its agencies in educational planning and organization in Punjab.

Q.4. critically discuss the new initiatives of Government of the Punjab in school education. Write your suggestions for further improvement and optimal use of these for improving quality of education.

Q.5. Critically and comprehensively discuss contributions of Higher education Commission Pakistan. What will be impact of devolution of HEC to provinces?

Q.6. Critically discuss the causes of collapsed education system in Pakistan. What measures can be taken for its rebirth.

Q.7. How, Progressivism, a modern philosophy of education developed as a research in USA 100 years ago, can be implemented in education system of an ideological country like Pakistan. Concrete examples, keeping in mind the process of education, will make your answer solid.

Q.8. write process of supervision; explain how educational supervision can help in improving management of educational institutions in Pakistan.

Q.9. Discuss the role of National Commission of Human development (NCHD) and National Technical and Vocational Authority (NTVEA) in promoting education in Pakistan.
