The answer for both questions was Troposphere. Troposphere was not given in the option becausethe blind and careless examiner either did not know that Lithosphere was not part of atmosphere but makes most of crust and mantle. Options were a) Photosphere b) Lithosphere c) Ionosphere d) Stratosphere

Lithosphere is part of crust and mantle. It is not an atmospheric layer.
Photosphere is the outer edge of the star that emits light.
Stratosphere starts where Troposphere(Layer which makes our atmosphere) ends. Planes fly in Stratosphere where there is no oxygen or little wind movement for smooth traveling.
Ionosphere is made up of Mesosphere and Thermosphere and Exosphere, none of which has oxygen or environment and temperature suitable for life.
Hence, all answers were wrong.
