Subject: English Literature (Paper-I)

Q No 1 : Explain the significance of TWO of the given excerpt with relevant textual reference :- (10+ 10 Marks )

c). " All night your moth-breath

Q No 5 : How has Taufeeq Rafat influenced English-language poetry of Pakistan ? Discuss . (20 Marks )

Q No 6 : What is the classical definition of tragedy? Within the context of this definition pinpoint the similarities and differences between Oedipus Rex and Death of a Salesman. (20 Marks )

Q No 7 : " The enigmatic influence of fate, fortune and heaven on the lives of human beings form a compelling theme in Shakespearean play." (20 Marks )

Q No 8 : Analyse Bernard Shaw's contribution to modern drama . (20 Marks )
