These 2 books are more than enough.

Both r best for study.

Mehdi's book is easy but Yousaf's book is little bit difficult.

Mehdi's book is a standard book. You can give refernces in paper by Mehdi Hassan.

consult Mirza Yousaf's book for the topics which are not present or not properly explained in Mehdi's book.

What about marks trend of mass com now, as it was not good experience for me in 2010.

Its depend upon luck. Sometimes our mind not allows us to give answer according to demand. We include extra detail so it has negative impact on checker.
Make your powder dry and trust on God.

It is difficult to predict scoring trend of a particular subject for the coming pms.
Though in 2012 mass com was a low scoring subject, yet I have seen few candidates scoring 130+ in this subject.
It depends upon how you handle the papers. If your presentation in papers is good, you will surely fetch good marks.

Both Imtiaz Shahid and Jahangir's books are the best. Rest, read dawn and tribune newspapers, in this way you will boost your score to cover general topics.
