a lot of congratulation but would you tell me which books you studied and what kind of your preparation was.as i have also earned my master degree in English literature as well as in linguistics and have done m.ed as well and i want to appear for lectureship. i need your guidance and advise in this regard.

So far my experience is concerned, I would suggest to go through all the major areas of the subject. Follow these things for sure success: first, study syllabuses and get knowledge about Masters' syllabi of Sargodha, Punjab and BZU; second, buy Emporium publishers book for English Literature MCQs. Read it A to Z. You may also consult B. R. Mullick's history book.
I followed this, stood at merit 25th in my very first attempt.

i have done m.a English and i also want to be a lecturer...but the problem is i have 2nd div in m.a so should i quit dreaming this?? as i have heard there is a lot competition n i cant stand anywhere

prerequisite qualification for lectureship is 2nd div in masters so you are eligible for that.
