Well I agree with others it was insane step to introduce mcqs type paper as it's a cruel joke with the competent candidates.Lecturers are supposed to elaborate their concepts in context of syllabus not to teach "mcqs" What they are going to judge ? They need the "best crammer" or the "best tukkay baaz" ? Objection ! Objection !
As far I remember it was for comedy,wel,if not,thats ok.and its equally right,objective test only is not sufficient,to judge a person's ability,it needs a thorough knowledge,but our system doesnt allow for this.

Yes, English Literature requires extensive and in-depth study. I inveigh against semester system for Literature, and now, objective test for the recruitment of Lecturership. Should this be criteria for the appointment of Lecturer (BPS-17) ???? It does not make any sense. Beauty of this subject is not to skim it or memorize dates and names, rather in its deep study, and critical analysis, arguments etc. etc. No doubt, the candidate who has studied the subject extensively, will be able to show good result in the objective test, but it does not certify that the candidate appointed through this process will deliver a impressive lecture with good interpretation and full command on the subject.

Yes it was only about '' heroines'' ....not '' comedy heroines ''...agar comedy heroines ka question hota to obviously answer was '' masculine''..but question was confusing.
