Ppsc is doing hell by parting aspirants according to district wise etc. In this way they are spreading confusion among applicants. Still, interview call letters for aspirents belonging from Bwp, Multan and DG Khan have not uploaded yet

Proficiency test is only a part of it. Its result seperately would not be declared

Default Interview Schedule

As per PPSC website following is the interview schedule:-
Rawalpindi : 25.04.2019
Faisalabad : 26.04.2019
Lahore : 29.04.2019 to 30.04.2019 and 02.05.2019 to 03.05.2019

But for Southern Punjab, like Multan, Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan etc. schedule not announced.
Please keep checking this link
http://www.ppsc.gop.pk/(S(3n5bz1wa0b...nterviews.aspx

As per this schedule, it seems that no one has been shortlisted in proficiency test. All 88 candidates (who passed written part) have been called for interview.

Default Interview Experience

Interview dated 25.04.2019 (Rawalpindi Centre)

There were total 6 (six) candidates at Rawalpindi Centre, from which three were not allowed to appear for interview because their experience was not relevant. One candidate was provisionally allowed. Scrutiny of eligibility as per criteria is too tough, and I have come to know that from 7 (seven) candidates, 05 were rejected in scrutiny at Faisalabad Centre on 26.04.2019. Following 4 (four) people were in the panel:-

1. Chairman of the Panel: Mr. Seerat Asghar, Member PPSC
2. Member of the Panel: One Sr. Professor.
3. Member of the Panel: One Ph.D Doctor of Information Technology
4. Departmental Representative: Addl. Registrar, Lahore High Court

The main areas of interview were based upon the following categories:-
1. Chairman and the Departmental Rep. were asking questions about Job Descriptions of the post on which the candidate is already working as well as for the post at which we have applied for. Practical questions of office management and Secretariat Instructions.
2. IT related questions were asked by subject specialist of I.T. That member was asking very complicated and M.Phil research based questions on the subject. His questions mainly based upon the softwares “MS Projects, MS-Excel and SPSS”. What is the difference between error and incident, the difference between virus and bugs? Etc.
3. The other member who seemed to be professor of English Literature, he asked questions on Literature, from me he asked about English Literature because of my educational background. From another candidate who had background of Statistics, they asked questions on Urdu Literature, especially on Shahab Naama.
Overall interview process was comfortable. Candidates who are appearing in other centers are also requested to share their experience as well.

Thanks sir so much. Well, is not it so strange that they are asking high degree questions like IT skills or other very strange questions from urdu/english literature, especially for an admn type post???

Welcome sire, yes its strange. As per criteria of the post, a candidate must be computer / IT proficient. Therefore, a computer proficiency test was conducted. To analyze skills of the candidates, they have called one PhD of IT as member of the panel. Now a PhD professor is asking questions of his own level. This is really strange, but we don't have anyother option except to undergo the process.

Experience relating to Administration and Office Management is being considered. One candidate was rejected because he had experience as a "Lawyer". One candidate's experience as "Research Officer" was excluded because it was not considered relevant. Experience of Police Department field duty like one was serving as Asstt. Sub-Inspector (ASI) was not considered.
The experiences considered relevant were:-
i. Assistant ii. Assistant Director iii. Admin Officer iv. Superintendent v. Section Officer etc.
I am working as Admin Officer. The people who do noting, drafting etc are of relevant experience.
