Assistant (ext) ah 9 dec 2018 paper
 

Dear members, aoa!

The paper was easy, mostly focused on current affairs and general knowledge. English was simple. 5, 6 questions were of vocabulary. Islamic study questions were less than 10. Urdu was very basic and easy. Overall, there was no surprise. If anyone has studied thoroughly, he could easily make it.
I am hoping to get 70+ marks in my very first attempt of any PPSC exam.

Now ,

(A+B)’s one day work = A’s one day work + B’s one day work

=> 1/15=1/20+1/x

=> 1/x= 1/15 - 1/20

=> 1/x = 1/60

=> x=60

Hence B alone can complete the work in 60 days

Let P, Q and R represent their respective monthly incomes. Then, we have:

(A+B)/2=15
A+B=30
B=20
Than A=10

Please guide me in this.

2. I marked it 3/4 (not sure) as the balls were 6 and 8 so ratio sparked in my mind, clicked 3/4.

Let number of balls = (6 + 8) = 14.

Number of white balls = 8.

P (drawing a white ball) = 8 /14 = 4/7.
